Sam Hubbard

Sam Hubbard is a Strawdog Ensemble Member, previously directing fights for Thirst, Charles Ives, After Miss Julie, Robin Hood, Great Expectations and more, and appearing in The Effect, Damascus, Cymbeline, The Long Christmas Ride Home and others. Other fight direction credits include Yen (Jeff Award, Best Artistic Specialization), The Luckiest and Suddenly Last Summer with Raven Theatre and productions Writers, Northlight, Court, Timeline, Steppenwolf for Young Adults (with Ryan Bourque), Steep, Jackalope, Victory Gardens, Teatro Vista, Sideshow, Redtwist, American Blues and The Artistic Home. Sam is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, he teaches MFA actors at Northwestern University and you can see him this summer as Henry V at Michigan Shakespeare Festival.
