Strawdog delivers world-class theatre in an intimate space for a ridiculously low price. The Wall Street Journal named Strawdog one of the nation's best theatre bargains, with tickets only "
$3.50 in 1968 dollars." We're committed to keeping our art affordable for everyone while our economy tries to earn the word "recovery." But ticket sales only cover about half of Strawdog's operating costs, and
we depend on individual donors to make theatre happen at Strawdog the way you saw it happen this year. Donating to Strawdog today, at any level, doesn't just prove you're a good person (though it also does that) — it helps Chicago to keep producing the most vibrant theatre in America.
Here's a few ways you can help.
As a contributor to Strawdog, you will enable us to continue to create ground-breaking ensemble productions,
cultivate new, young artists and continue to keep our ticket prices low and accessible to all. Annual fund
donors receive invitations to benefits, special performances and readings and so much more.
